Annual Pesticide Notification

As part of the Brown City Community Schools pest management program, pesticides are occasionally applied.  You have the right to be informed and/or review our school's IPM Program of any pesticide application made to the school grounds and buildings.  Parents or guardians are entitled to receive the notice by first-class United States mail postmarked at least 3 days prior to application, upon request.  In certain emergencies, pesticides may be applied without prior notice, but you will be provided notice following any such application. If you wish for any IPM information, please send your written request to Ron Bennett, IPM Coordinator, Brown City Community Schools, 4349 Second Street, PO Box 160, Brown City, MI 48416.  Phone (810) 346-4700 ext. 1051 or e-mail: Please sign and date the request and include the following information:

1. Parent/Guardian name

2. Student’s name

3. Home address

4. Telephone numbers (daytime & evening)

5. Please indicate whether prior notification is requested for treatment inside the building, on building grounds, or both.

​For your convenience, you may choose to use the downloadable Pesticide Notification form. You will need to print the form, fill it out and mail it to the address above. This form cannot be completed online.  Postings will also be displayed at main entrances of building where application is applied and on school website below prior to applications. Please note: Requests must be filed annually.
